If you ever decide to travel to Norway in the end of June, you may enjoy the Grand Slam Beach Volleyball Tournament, right in Stavanger town. In contrast to most other places that host these tournaments, in Stavanger - it's set up right down in the bay in the center of town. They bring in tons of sand and build a huge center court that can take some 7000 - 8000 spectators and pure Volleyball entertainment!This year they've been hosting the actual World Championships here - for 10 days (finals today!) and the weather has been amazing - around 25 degrees and blazing sun for the whole period.
If you're like me and have a hard time following any sort of sport, just people watching is always fun in itself. These girls are gorgeous in shape and the men are in respectively good shape as well ;) Good Game!
